Ethical channel

At JEGAN S.A.L., we strongly believe in the importance of fostering a safe, ethical, equal, and trustworthy environment for all our employees, customers, and partners. For this reason, we have implemented a solid Ethical Channel. — a platform where individuals can directly report any potential non-compliance or irregularities within the organisation, in line with Law 2/2023 of 20 February, which regulates the protection of persons who report regulatory breaches and anti-corruption violations.

WHAT FACTS CAN BE REPORTED?

You can report any facts that you believe may constitute a breach of legal regulations, the Code of Ethics, or any internal rules in force — such as the following — through the Ethical Channel section:

  • Conduct related to fraud and corruption.
  • Occupational safety, health and hygiene behaviour.
  • Discrimination and harassment in the workplace.
  • Information Security, Data Protection and Securities Market Conduct.
  • Anti-competitive practices.
  • Conduct contrary to human rights or damage to the environment.
  • Other possible criminal or administrative offences.

MAIN FEATURES:

Confidentiality: We understand that confidentiality is essential to encouraging individuals to file complaints. We guarantee absolute confidentiality throughout the process and protect the complainant's identity to the extent permitted by law. It is possible to send the alert anonymously.

Impartial investigation process: Once a complaint is filed, our team of experts will thoroughly investigate the matter objectively and diligently in accordance with domestic regulations and applicable law. The rights of those involved, particularly the presumption of innocence, shall be respected throughout the proceedings.

Protection against retaliation: We do not tolerate any form of retaliation against bona fide whistleblowers. We are committed to safeguarding the rights and integrity of those who dare to report any irregularity. We will take appropriate disciplinary action against anyone who retaliates against a whistleblower.

Resolution and follow-up: Once we complete the investigation, we will take appropriate action to address the issue and, where possible, implement corrective measures to prevent future breaches. We are also committed to keeping the complainant informed about the progress and outcome of their report whenever permitted by applicable laws.
